Hi, I've been thinking of having my stock rear rims widened to 10.5. I've read some other threads where folks have mentioned that 305's and even 315 are possible without rubbing. My concern is that I might need to run a spacer(@20mm) to achieve the right look filling the wheel well. My question is how safe is a small spacer when used on a wheel that will be drag raced. Car makes under 600 hp and it's a M6 so there isn't a huge, sudden shock to the drive train like you'd have with an automatic. Would you tire/wheel gurus think a spacer could be used, or would you avoid it at all costs? Please help. Thanks! I didn't find the right answer from the Internet.
